About Me

I am a mother of eight, ages 43 to 24 years old, and have nursed all my babies. I grew up in a big family, watching my mother nurse and care for five younger siblings. Also a grandmother of 5! As a result, I have lots of knowledge about new babies. I'm reliable, gentle, and soft-spoken. I realize the need for support of the new mother and am detail oriented. I took my postpartum doula training with Kimberly Bepler, CPD/T on March 18th-19th of 2015. In addition, I took Kimberly's training for working with multiples in Nov. of 2015, and have recently received my certification with CAPPA.
As a postpartum doula, I am becoming well versed in the normal postpartum recovery period and infant care. I do not provide medical care, but will advise you to contact either your physician/midwife or the baby's if I feel the course of recovery is not going as planned.
As a postpartum doula, I don't do cleaning, babysitting, or transporting of mother or baby in my car due to liability issues.
